You get what you pay for with this book. I had purchased this book along with another book to help study and I am thoroughly disappointed in this product. You can’t read the labeling, nothing is marked in the book, it is not a proper illustration of the muscular system and it looks like something I would give a fourth grader. There is a reason they don’t show photos of the inside. Please don’t waste your money! If you’re going to get a book to help study get “The anatomy coloring book” because that one is at least properly labeled(linked below).http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0321832019?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0

I wish I had seen the one star review here before ordering. 1) The line drawings are very light in my copy, and it is difficult to see some of the lines going to the muscles; 2) some of the full body illustrations are 'Squashed' onto the page, making the body look "obese"... not sure why this was done, because the same illustration on the subsequent pages are not distorted. 3) I know this is not a grammar book, but it has numerous errors that were not edited out (your instead of you're, etc.,) -- which doesn't affect the coloring aspect, but just made the whole thing seem more juvenile. As the one-star reviewer said... it's cheap for a reason. Only buy this if you cannot possibly find anything else. For elementary school....maybe. For anyone studying anything more advanced, I would NOT recommend this.

Realistic, is the word I would use to describe this coloring book and also one of the frequent word I continually heard from my O.R. co-workers when I showed them this book was, "You can see the actual muscles".I was looking for a muscular system coloring book that was a coloring book, not a convoluted page that was so crowded you can't make out any of the illustrated muscles because they were so small.This book doesn't have that problem, except for some of the pages with three labeled illustrations on them, but they are there for you to see the anterior, lateral and posterior views of that particular extremity, side by side.So in a nutshell for an example you have the anterior, lateral, and posterior arm unlabeled; which you can easily see and color each individual muscle.Next you have the same extremity with all three views labeled and again you can color each individual muscles but this time all the muscles are labeled.And once more, now you have all three positions, anterior, lateral, posterior on the same page label to view side by side and color again.I like this lay out concept, because it appears to me your being force to learn from repetition. Using my example above, as far as how many times your given the opportunity to color each of the illustrations above, 3 time for each position; which give you a total 9 times.Love it.

Anterior, Lateral, Posterior illustration labeled.The act of doing all of the above will reinforce your memory of the location and name of each of the muscles.

I originally purchased this coloring book to familiarize my 12 year old with anatomy, however both my 6 year old and 15 year old fell in love with the Muscular System Coloring Book. The book is extremely detailed and allows users to color and learn at the same time. It is very educational and offers my kids hours of fun daily.

There is not one image of female anatomy in this book for medical professionals. Is the medical establishment still so mysogynistic that they aren't even aware that all the books that are available for drawing the muscular system have only male anatomy? If all human anatomy books only cover males, then something is very wrong. Please update your pamphlets to include female anatomy. There are subtle and important differences. Many artists use these books, so it's imperative that we can observe and draw the differences.

This team was guided by Kennedy's admonition to give Khrushchev every opportunity to back down as possible. And during these days on the brink of nuclear war these were some key factors: some on the Ex Comm team advocated invading Cuba, some members switched positions from Hawk to Dove in a single meeting, President Kennedy maintained his regular schedule and the Ex Comm team met without the knowledge of anyone, a secret meeting between Robert Kennedy and Dobrynin negotiated a trade of U. S. missiles out Turkey for U.S.S.R. missiles out of Cuba, and so much more.Reading this book illustrated the true ability of Kennedy as a thoughtful leader, a keen student of history who was able to apply the lessons of the past to a modern crisis. It also illustrated the part that personalities and sheer chance played in saving our world from catastrophe.

RFK's cronological account of events and the decision making process is gripping, sobering, and terrifying. It should be required reading for all incoming presidents. The forward by Arthur Schlesinger is likewise full of insight but also interesting facts that came out years later (for example, the Russian troops in Cuba had tactical nukes ready to deploy against any invasion, yikes), don't be tempted to skip over it. About the Author Jay Allen Sanford -  is an American author and cartoonist best known for his work with Revolutionary Comics, Carnal Comics, and Pacific Comics. The publishing company he co-founded, Carnal Comics, is best known for launching the movie and cartoon character Demi the Demoness. Sanford ran Carnal Comics from 1994 through 2000, before handing over the publishing reins to SS Crompton.
